Creative Teams

ScrapMatters held a one day only call for the digital and hybrid creative teams this past Friday. I am anxious to see who will be joining us over there and I have to admit, it's still a little strange for me to be on this side of things as a designer. I've often said how I miss scrapping so much and how I need to get back to it more. Not only do I miss scrapping the memories of my family, I also miss participating in several creative teams. I know what it's like to submit for a call and then wait to hear and then either be so excited to join a new team or devastated to not make it and wonder if I just wasn't good enough. I also miss the activity and the friendships that ensue when you're on a team - welcomed into that private world of designers that you love. I've been thinking lately that maybe I should try out for a few teams again - maybe it would give me that push to scrap that I need. (Yes, sometimes it can be hard to scrap with your own designs - especially after looking at it for so long while working on it.) So, who knows, maybe I'll try again. There are certainly some "dream teams" I'd love to be on! And speaking of dreams teams, I have had the opportunity to work with so many over the past several years. Here's a list off the top of my head in alphabetical order of the teams I've been on. I've probably forgot a few too.

SSD Featured Scrapper!

I'm incredibly honored to be the featured scrapper today over at Sweet Shoppe Designs! They are one of my favorite stores ever with some of the best designers, scrappers and communities around. Store News

It is with a very heavy heart that I have decided to say goodbye to The Digichick. This was not an easy decision by any means. TDC is where I got my start and I will always be grateful to Nicole for the opportunity she gave me. However, circumstances in my life have changed a bit and I need to find more balance and refocus my energies. So, I will be going exclusive with ScrapMatters. My store at TDC will be closing on 2/15.
